COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The Community Support Committee's fundamental desire is to serve others along with building relationships among ourselves, the senate, the campus, and the community. The committee coordinates many of the service projects that the SLC performs each year. Specifically, we will be organizing and serving during the Service Saturday projects, Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis, and the fall clothing drive. In addition to these responsibilities, we will provide other opportunities throughout the year to serve. Through these service opportunities, we hope to increase campus awareness and importance of serving while positively affecting and influencing the attitudes of students towards living a lifestyle of service.
